This article applies to MYOB AccountRight version 2016.2 or earlier. If your version of MYOB is 2016.3 or later, please refer to this other article instead.


Our application can only connect to AccountRight if the “MYOB Add-On Connector” is running on your computer. Make sure the MYOB Add-On Connector is correctly installed and running. 


In the MYOB program group, you should have this “MYOB Add-On Connector”.


Open it and it will run the service which you can see running in the Notification Area/System Tray. You can open it to see it running or stop it. You can also test the URL (http://localhost:8080/AccountRight) to verify the service is working.
